For gestational diabetes

I got diagnosed with GD at 18 weeks. This is the app I needed that day.

I left that appointment with a stack of pamphlets, feeling overwhelmed and honestly kind of ashamed. Suddenly every meal felt like a test I could fail. So I built Bloom: it keeps my meals, pricks, and CGM in one place, has an AI coach that talks me through the high readings kindly, and gives me real charts to bring to my care team.

Free while you're pregnant. No spam, just your invite.

Bloom — a meal's glucose curve, read like a wave
See what a meal actually did
Bloom — foods on trial, finding your spike foods
Figure out which foods spike you
Bloom — ask anything food-related, no shame
Ask the questions you're embarrassed to ask

What it actually does.

01

Helps with "so what CAN I eat?"

Log your meals in a few seconds and see what's likely to spike you before you eat it. No food rules, just what your own body is telling you.

02

Pricks and CGM, together

Works with finger pricks or a Dexcom. If you're not pricking yet, you can still use it for meals, supplements, and nutrients.

03

An AI coach that’s kind on the hard days

A high reading doesn't mean you failed. You can ask Bloom anything, anytime — even the questions you're embarrassed to ask — and it never scolds. It just helps you figure out what happened and gently brings you back on track.

04

Data your care team can use

Week-by-week trends and clean reports, so you're not trying to remember two weeks of numbers in a 15-minute appointment.

05

Learn YOUR spike foods

Mine were bananas and granola, things I ate all the time before. Bloom keeps a running list of what spikes you specifically, because it's different for everyone.

Why I built this
"I had pre-diabetes, so I was tested early and diagnosed at 18 weeks. It was scary. I'm 25 weeks now, baby is healthy, and I feel a little better every day. Bloom is the app that got me here, and I use it daily."
— Lekha, who built this while living it

Questions

Does it cost anything?

No. The beta is free for your whole pregnancy. All I ask is that you tell me what's confusing or missing.

Do I need a CGM?

No. I did finger pricks for weeks before getting a CGM, and Bloom works fine with just pricks. If you have a Dexcom it connects automatically.

I'm not pricking yet — is Bloom still for me?

Yes. You can use it to keep track of meals, supplements, and nutrients at any stage of pregnancy, even without a diagnosis.

What does "AI coach" mean?

Bloom is built on AI. It reads your meals and numbers, so when you ask "why did that spike me?" or "what can I actually order at a restaurant?", the answer is about you, not generic advice.

Is this medical advice?

No. It helps you track and understand your own numbers, and gives you good data to discuss with your care team. Always follow their guidance.
